Direct Email Marketing

B2C Newsletters - Skin Actives Scientific 

Process:

Skin Actives Scientific communicates with their customer base twice weekly in the form of a newsletter that directs readers to a corresponding blog post and sale.

Graphics are created in Canva using a mixture of stock photos and assets developed specifically for Skin Actives by an outside graphic designer.

Finished graphics are loaded into MailChimp and delivered to customers around the world on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Affiliate Newsletters - Skin Actives Scientific 

Affiliate Program:

The following emails were created for the Affiliate Program at Skin Actives, which I also manage as part of my duties.

The voice required for this demographic was really different and much looser. This campaign was designed to feel fun and build engagement.

Positioning:

The Marketing Director asked me to create a series of 7 positioning statements that we could use to close up our emails.

Storytelling:

Skin Actives is located in Gilbert, Arizona. To accentuate the story behind this local business, I created a series of banners that focused on Skin Actives as a distinctly Arizona brand.

These banners ran from January - March 2022.

"Small Business" Newsletter - Skin Actives Scientific 

Process:

The Small Business Newsletter is pretty unique. It's designed to convert long-time Do-It-Yourself fans of the Skin Actives Product into Private Label customers. 

These messages are geared towards reorienting a hobby-pastime into an entrepreneurial endeavor. They are designed to be informative and feel valuable to the recipient and therefore they can be quite long.

Blogs - Skin Actives Scientific 

Process:

Skin Actives Scientific posts blogs twice weekly. The goal here is to educate the customer base and instruct them on how to make the most of the product. 

Blogs must be accessible and make science-based topics approachable. Blog copy is written with the accompanying newsletter in mind. Blog banner is generated in Canva and designed for longevity,
